Planning for Prosperity is the Talk of the Town
Are you concerned about the future of your community in Hancock County? Do you have ideas to share about making choices for better economic opportunities, land use, the environment or transportation?
Ron Beard, host of the WERU (89.9 FM) community radio talk show "Talk of the Town" will devote the January 19, 2001 10:00 am program to a discussion of Planning for Prosperity in Hancock County. This one hour conversation will highlight some of the pressing issues confronting residents and visitors in Hancock County.
Key issues in economic development, land use and transportation will be raised by the host, guests and most importantly by people who call the radio station at 469-0500 during the live broadcast. Guests will include a mix of elected representatives, citizen volunteers and professionals representing some of the diverse communities and interests in Hancock County.
